This site started as a means for collectors and artists that wish to share images with other collectors or potential buyers without risking theft of intellectual property, use without permission, and potential fraud. When images are uploaded, a discreet watermark is added so you can share images that can be definitively be traced back to you as the original owner.

We offer uploads any of the three most popular web image formats (jpg, png and gif) and these will be watermarked with your username across the middle of the image and date/time stamped at the bottom of the image to show exactly when it was uploaded and by which user to prevent users from stealing your images or using them without your permission.

For each visitor to our Web page, our web server automatically logs your internet IP address on your account information. This IP address is used for site metrics and stats, and is not available to the public. We store the IP address you use to register, as well as the IP address of your latest login, and this information is only used if user security has been questioned and is only accessible to a site administrator.

The information we collect is used to improve the content of our Web page, used to customize the content and/or layout of our page for each individual visitor, and is not shared with other organizations for commercial or other purposes, with the sole exception of cases where a user of our services breaks our terms & conditions. Under these circumstances, we may share your information with relevant law enforcement agencies and other relevant 3rd parties.

We use cookies to store visitors preferences, customize Web page content based on visitors' browser type or other information that the visitor sends and stores as upload settings. No plug-ins, toolbars, macro scripts, or any other types of executable files are created or stored.

Other than a low-resolution thumbnail size preview image, we do not store any unprotected, unwatermarked, unmodified images on our site or our web server. The only images available after upload are the modified, watermarked, timestamped images that are available to view on your account. If you lose the original unprotected images, we cannot retrieve a copy of the original image. This site is used as a means of protecting images that are shared externally on the web or other means, and should not be used as primary storage for unsecured or unmodified images. What this also means is your uploaded images are protected from theft, even from site administrators or any potential for cyber attacks on the website.

When you upload images, you will be given the option to make images "Public" or not. Images that are marked "Public" will be visible on the home page and can be browsed on your image profile or on links to your gallery. Be advised that any images uploaded on this site have the potential of being viewed by the public depending on which links are shared. If you share a link to a gallery page, the images on that gallery page will be visible whether they are marked "Public" or not. Also, images not marked "Public" can still be shared and linked and used on external sites, forums, etc, and will be visible to all.

The personal information collected (names, email addresses, etc) are not used for marketing or any other commercial or third-party purposes. Your personal information may be used to verify the identity of the account holder in the event that one of the images on the account, or the account itself, is questioned in any manner. Keep in mind this site is used to protect your intellectual property, so using accurate data is important. Your email address is stored as a way to verify your identity and to recover your account information in a secure manner if it's ever needed. Your email will not be used for solicitations or "junk" mail, either from Imgsecure.com or from a third-party.
